New Noise: 14th March '10 Part 2

Part 2 of this week's show begins with the bouncing menace of DJ Scotch Egg's band project Drum Eyes and ends with an affectionately twisted bit of vintage psychobilly dedicated to wonderful mothers everywhere.

Somewhere in between you'll hear debut New Noise outings for the likes of We Came Out Like Tigers, The Forest & The Trees, Actress and James Blake, plus bubbling, brilliant new electronica from Four Tet and Pantha du Prince, a recent live recording of something new by The National, Clogs (ft. The National's frontman Matt Berninger), my new NME Radio Track of the Week from Avi Buffalo and typical DFA brilliance from Shit Robot, Free Energy and LCD Soundsystem.

Chuck in a bit of Arab Strap, Blank Dogs, and some killer new Wave Pictures and you've got a pretty decent way to spend an hour and twenty minutes (at least one that doesn't involve Charlton Athletic, cheddar cheese or Charlie Brooker).

Thanks for listening, if you bothered.

Jon
