When Christians think of pursuing joy, very few seem to think of pursuing joy in proclaiming the gospel. For many, sharing the gospel, if they think of it at all, is filled with anxiety, fear, apprehension and confusion. But does that need to be the case? In almost every other instance when we love something, we talk about it to others, almost too much in some cases. We enjoy talking about what we love, so it should be the same with Jesus. In talking about Jesus, we should find joy and rejoicing. In this sermon we look at Paul, who is imprisoned, and yet he finds joy in talking about the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone. He even writes about his joy as others talk about Jesus. In this sermon we see that it is normal for Christians to talk about Jesus and to have joy in it. In this sermon we unpack how that can happen for us as well.
