Too often today the American church has a distorted view of what discipleship looks like. We read tons of books, attend classes and seminars, and still miss what Jesus set forth in discipleship. When Jesus began his ministry, he started by calling regular men to come and follow him. He set the example of discipleship by looking to his Heavenly Father and doing what his Father did. He then invited his disciples into relationship with him so that they too could do as he did. In this sermon we examine what it looks like to be a disciple of Christ and to disciple others.
