It's no secret that marriages are in trouble in the US. Inside the church and outside the church marriage continues to take hits and the wreckage of husbands, wives and children are all around. Is it possible that we have a poor understanding of marriage? If so, it would seem that the church does too. In this message we look at what God, the author and creator of life, tells us about marriage. We examine how marriage is grounded in the Trinitarian Godhead and in Christ and His church. And we discuss moving marriage from commodity to covenant. Lastly we hit up what the scripture is talking about when we hear the word 'submission'. Is it a bad deal? Or could it actually be perfectly designed by God for our joy and sanctification?
