After the Israelites escaped from captivity in Egypt through the leadership of Moses and by the the multitude of miracles from the Lord, they began complaining about the Lord's provision. They begin wishing they were back in Egypt, in captivity, so that they could eat meat. Moses too complains about the task the Lord has given him and even wishes that the Lord would simply kill him. All the while, God's chosen people forget to see what the Lord is doing and all that He has done to save them. Ultimately, Jesus Christ is our savior, our perfect Moses, who is tempted and tried yet does not sin. He is the ultimate example to look to when experience trials and temptation, because He has overcome them.
