Like Miles would have said "This is a motherfucka of a band" and he is so right.
I followed this cat in Copenhagen to Munich to hear him play. He is on fire.
I have been a fan since 1974 and have never looked back. Every single piece of music I can lay my hands on I buy. Miles is such an important musician to many a jazz musician out there some will not admit it, he gave them
the carrot and they followed whether they like it or not. I have listened to Nils Petter Molvær and Jon Hassell compare the trumpets and judge for yourself. They are also good musicians and I love there music I have great respect for them but it is not the same.
These concerts in Japan are very hot and boils over like Mount Fuji erupting
with sounds of fury. The trumpet playing is poetic and revolutionary at the same time, behind Miles the crew are boiling some hell of a stew.
