I've recently started recording all of my sets at Himlen, partly to remember what I played but more importantly - it makes me play better. Even if I'm having a boring night I know that something great could come from the recording so it makes me be focus more on mixing and I pay closer attention to programming so that it can be an enjoyable experience for a listener after.
I've had a residency at Himlen in Stockholm for almost 10 years now - every other Friday. Situated on the 26th floor of the tallest tower on Södermalm, they pride themselves on fantastic views of the city, amazing food and drinks and high quality electronic music - a formula that has maintained their success since opening. If it aint broke - don't fix it.
I normally start at 110bpm and work my way up. Maintaining comfortable vibes through the evening. Sometimes it can get sweaty and people want techno - I'm always happy to oblige. I hope you like these. x x
