On this episode of RadioActive I was joined by Dr. Ed Trickett, one of the greats in community psychology who spent the hour taking us through his nuanced way of understanding ecological theory (and for CPer's out there, yes, this is Trickett from 'Kelly and Trickett' who did a lot of our formative writing on ecological theory in the field).
Through tangible examples of his work in schools and communities along with metaphors of onions, Ed takes us on a short journey through his brain to better understand and appreciate the complex thinking that has gone into understanding how communities impact people and well-being and how we can engage in understanding and interacting with contexts in our work in community psychology and agents for change in communities.
