Chart positions

This upload was 7th in the #northern soul chart, 9th in the #oldies chart and 31st in the #funk chart.

We're back with another mix of not-overplayed 45s that you can score for $10 or less, this time going with a funkier selection -- and this time, WITH WORDS. Yes, that's right, our D.A. gives hosting a podcast a shot. We have no idea whether you will like the change -- or him -- but he gave it a go. We realize he's no Gail Smith or Larry Grogan.

Let us know in the comments whether you like this format or not. We already know what we'd do different, both with the mike levels and scripting -- or at least figuring out what we're going to say BEFORE we start recording instead of just winging it. That'd help with avoiding screw-ups like saying Queen Latifah "covered" instead of "sampled" Alvin Cash. Oops.

This is the third mix in an occasional series. The idea is to get soul buffs not made of money started on the hobby, as well as serious collectors and DJs a chance to let their wallets cool off with a few cheapos.
