Does that phrase seem exciting or bothersome? Do you think it will catch on? Each year we end with the climax of Thanksgiving and Christmas – it seems right to combine them. Doesn’t it? You might not like feeling rushed into Christmas or rushed right by Thanksgiving, but that’s not my intent. My thought is to put more Christ into our Thanksgiving and more thanksgiving into our Christmas - a mental and emotional extension of both!
This Sunday at Morello Hills we begin the Advent season of Christmas. Our series of messages over the next few weeks will focus on Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. We will be looking at the ways Jesus actively points people to these realities. This week we focus on Hope. Jesus the Wonderful Counselor brings hope to all who come to him.
