Step up for kids’ health

Step up for kids’ health

The Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI), along with Tim Cahill and patron Sarah Murdoch, are asking Australian children, families, adults and businesses to step up for kids’ health and register for Stepathon, its national community fundraiser, which runs 6-12 March. Stepathon participants pledge to walk 100,000 steps in a week, and raise funds for research into common childhood disorders, including allergy, obesity, cancer, learning problems, depression and anxiety, and rare genetic conditions. Inga Feitsma joined the show to talk about the work of the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI), and how the Stepathon works. Find out more at the Stepathon website.
