Tune in to #MilitaryMondays and get to know Jim Scott!
Jim is a military brat, SDSU Aztec, a Vietnam Veteran, a self-described meandering soul, a proud Father, Husband, business owner, writer and involved citizen in #SanDiego.
He also happens to be one of our favorite guests on the show!
Jim went from a young man that listened to #KCBQ (under the previous top-40 format) to an undergrad student at #SDSU in the mid 1960s to Marine Lieutenant in TBS class 167, to a young officer in Vietnam in 1968.
Jim shares from his favorite songs from an earlier era at KCBQ, talks with us about why the 1890 Rudyard Kipling poem "Tommy" was just as true 80 years later for the #Vietnam vets of his era, and takes us through the meandering path he tread post-#MarineCorps from JuCo professor to Probation Officer before creating success in Real Estate.
Jim shares some great lessons about finding yourself along the way while also seeking out how to thrive in the transition after military service.
