This is the annual "longs songs" edition of the show to mark the longest day of the year. The playlist features eight tracks, all over six or seven minutes in length, by artists including Van Morrison, from Northern Ireland, and The Eastern, from New Zealand. There are songs about moonshine, migration and murder, and a track inspired by nights spent listening to the music of Townes Van Zandt. You can find the full playlist, as well as more information about the show, at www.tiams.org. The International Americana Music Show is the only radio show to play Americana music made solely by non-American artists.
