DJ VETOE - CLASSIC JUNGLE & DNB MIX - 09-08-17

Playing tracks by

Free4orm, Dr. S. Gachet, Intense, Minds At Large, Q Tex and more.

Chart positions

This show was 35th in the global jungle chart.

My last mix for a while. It starts off mellow and then goes into some darker/ heavier business. Hopefully Irma doesn't do us too bad and hopefully you enjoy the mix.

"Top shelf qualities." That's an opinion of course. ;-)

Notoriety for their top shelf qualities that is. That is by definition the meaning of the word after all ;)

I hear ya, but we'll agree to disagree ;) especially on the notion that "anything" before 99 falls into the classics category. In my humble opinion, classics should be tunes a good majority of the jungle community recognize due to having been extensively played out as well as reached a certain echelon of notoriety.

I consider those anthems and I try not play too many. I can only stand to hear Supersharp Shooter and Original Nuttah so many times. I just go by years and not what "a good majority of the jungle community" thinks. I play for myself and share my mixes to turn people to new "old" tunes. Knowledge is power!

Respect your mixes/selections but the "CLASSIC" label is a bit misleading. Nothing I'd consider a classic in there tbh

Hi Sean. Every one is entitled to their opinion on that. It's cool brother. I appreciate your honesty, but I gotta disagree with you. I consider anything before 99' as "classic" at this point. Most of the tunes in this mix are from 96' and 97' with a few from 98' I believe. Tunes that are 20-21 years old are "classics" to me at this point. If they are old enough to buy ale...they deserve the respect! ;-)
