<3 Merci Madame

WeirdwithBeard

Great dark atmosphere here, thank you!

meistsonnig

Thanks bro, my pleasure

Lapis_rufus

Thick darkness upon my Soul you've spilled - my Heart seems chocked with tar now ;) All in all a very intense journey through a maze of dark havoc, frightening at times, but enjoyable in its entireness!!! Thanks!

meistsonnig

Seems that you are right, set turned out to be darker than intended... How was this going to happen? Next time I must start with a more lighthearted baseline. Thanks for yr always valuable feedback

cool dark stuffs here , thx ;-)

meistsonnig

Thanks mate, more to come soon, along with other stuff ;)

Melvillain

Did you sample that UPA production of The Tell-Tale Heart at about 43:00? More genius!

meistsonnig

No samples here, it is the Stigmate Equinox track as is (overlayed with the Clavicvla track which is next to come). btw i sampled the Tell-Tale Heart some years ago in this set https://www.mixcloud.com/meistsonnig/the-tell-tale-heart/

Melvillain

That Fontelo & Rick Jensen track is so good. The rotten heart at the core of the mix. That's definitely going on a future show.

meistsonnig

Totally agree. The original track is 11:00, I shortened it for this set to the excerpt which is used in the video, which is the 2nd part of the trac, even more intense than the beginning imho

Melvillain

Thanks for the shoutout, Meistsonnig. Just glad to be part of that Burroughsian melting pot of imaginative sound curation. Excellent set. Only a few I know, so I'm going to do some tracking down. The Black to Comm is open is inspired, and I'm glad to see Endvra getting some love. Thanks!

meistsonnig

I have to thank you, Melvillain, for the endless inspiration with your weekly shows.

yeah, Kristian said it better than most of us could, totally stunning from front to back and incredibly cinematic, conjuring dystopian images which evoke the interzone we are all in right now..
it's january, we'll be hard pressed to find a more emotive session all year, hats off meistonnig!!!

meistsonnig

Thanks black_ops for the kind words! I am pretty confident that we don't have to wait very long for an excellent, obscure and atmospheric set, as I do follow some guys here who know how to do a good sonic job...

Kristian Radolovic

An incredibly interesting and interesting musical travelogue through sonic atmospheres into the void within. Noir Ambient of a different stripe which makes it so collectively different and arresting. A drone of tragedies and experiments in dissonances of the soul. Unsettling and somewhat disturbing but far from mundane or ordinary and in its own dark way both unforgettable and incredibly noteworthy. Excellent job in its effect and feels which we believe to be the point in the first place.

meistsonnig

Thank you Kristian, another most eloquent review which I myself couldn't spot that precisely, but yeah, after hearing the set now it is most probably like this. Tons of thanks!

I'm interzoned! Stunning session from the very beautiful opening! At 'Intuition' that strange drums on the long synth pad, weird and catchy - 'Equinx' a big fav with that wet sound that remind me the rain and the sequence Locrian & Mamiffer - Metis/Amaranthine/The Emperor - wow!!! it's totally different to me to listen to an album of these, tune after tune, I get tired very soon and in the most of cases I miss the real quality of the music . I'm grateful because with set like it's totally different I dive very deeply, it's very emotional and I can appreciate really every track. Thanks man, now I'm ready toface the day.

meistsonnig

Thanks Attila for these encouraging words. And I totally agree, when I listen to a dark ambient tagged album I often loose interest, but you have to pick the cherries, and this applies to other genres too. Interesting that you hear this stuff for breakfast, I couldn't do so, it's for late night only...different preferences.. cya around mate
