Born and raised in Boston on a steady diet of underground hip-hop and classic rock, Max fell madly in love with electronic music while working as an intern at Satellite Records. Digging through crates and DJ'ing came naturally and soon enough he was promoting for super-club Avalon Boston and playing all over the city. Fascinated by music and sound, Max moved to Chicago after high school to get a degree in audio engineering. It was here that he grew to appreciate the roots of dance music through underground parties and frequent trips to Detroit. After college, Max founded Deliverance Mastering and had his work featured on BBC Radio 1, Fox News, and played in clubs the world over. In 2010 Max moved to San Francisco, where he started work as a sound engineer at some of the city's most prominent night clubs. In 2012 Max joined the WERD crew for their legendary Sunday night party at Otis Lounge and is also a resident at Monarch SF for a monthly happy hour event called Re:Groove.
