Urban Graffiti Mix #15

Playing tracks by

Odie Hawkins, Sharon Mesmer, The Mistakes, Ron Kolm, Danny Sugerman and more.

Chart positions

This upload was 33rd in the #post-punk chart.

Urban sounds. Urban vibes. Urban verse. Urban tribes. Songs of the city. Past and present. Old and new. The city keeps singing. Los Angeles. New York. San Francisco. Watts. Amsterdam. Auckland. London. Toronto.

Intriguing how well, and how easily, these tracks blend with one another. One track. Blink. Decades pass seamlessly. Effortlessly. An urban literary time machine. Step inside. Sit down. Lay back. Improvisation. Anarchist rants. Watts Prophets. Poetic monologues. Jazz poems. Fictioneers. Flarf poets. Unbearables. Multi-instrumentalists.

yes, these are both some rare audio, bart. there is so little david wojnarowicz audio available. the wendy o matik piece was from an out of print compilation Home Alive: the Art of Self Defense released in tribute to Mia Zapata lead singer of The Gits who was savagedly raped and murdered.
