Music moves the world. Music also reflects social realities and has an influence on them. There is no social movement without music. Musicians like Bob Marley or Manu Chao impart values that serve many social movements as a basis of identification. The music of these two artists contains a message. They used and in the latter case still use music as a means of spreading their ideas of peace and justice all over the world. And so does N.R.G. Vibes Marcus, a man from the Ostalb, a region in the south of Germany, who now lives in Berlin. Marcus was born in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1977. Because of his fathers profession he soon ended up abroad. He grew up in Peru and later lived in Spain. Musical pre-education (he learned to play the organ and the guitar) was something he has been profiting from. Marcus founded his own reggaelatino band, N.R.G. Vibes, in the south of Germany in 1996.
