Stupidly said a while back that I would compile a mix of some of my favourite reggae tunes. This turned out to be a just about impossible task. Just about ever other record has a tune I really like, so this was hard!!!! But here it is - "some" of my favourite sounds - roots flavour.
This is part 3........ Part 1 and 2 over at my blog http://madmongos.blogspot.com/
Enjoy. All the best and happy vibes.... Mike

Is it G.T. Moore?
That last tune is a right killer isn't it. That really is one of my favourites. It is "Vivian Jones" but it has that G T Moore style to it. The track is called "Third World Man". It's from the lp "Bank Robbery" but is also found at a cheaper price on the 1992 lp "The King". It just so deep, the pained singing and the rhythm. There's a 12" version on a 2013 release too mixed by Russ D The Disciples. It has 3 dubs I believe. I havent got that and it now goes for quite big bucks. One for the wants list. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBwRfbh3biU All the best... Mike
Alright. So we salute Vivian Jones one more time and all a dem selectors and selectresses who "sell their teeth" for the legal drug vinyl!
Give thanks for the upload Mike, great dub journey again. The last tune is just ...one of these tunes...heavy dynamite!!
