Join host Nance Klehm for Long format conversations with folks who find the cracks, break up the compaction, remediate the contamination and leave the soil (metaphorically or literally) better for us all.
In this episode Nance speaks with Sarita Dougherty a student of ecology from an earth-based spiritual perspective. She begins by drafting cosmologies to map new paradigms with the earth, starting in the self and the home. She is a plein air painter capturing the systems and memory of place. As a 3rd-year DIY PhD candidate in Pachamama Consciousness with the Postnational Department of Transcultural Youth, Sarita seeks healing through decolonizing aesthetics, ecology and education. She received an MFA from UCLA in 2012 and teaches with the University of Redlands and Cypress College.
