800 years ago was London hit by a serious fire which destroyed a large part of the city. During the Irish independence struggle in 1921 became 10th of July known as Belfast's' Bloody Sunday, which took place 51 years before history almost repeated itself on January 30, 1972, when in Derry, Northern Ireland another 14 people were killed on a Bloody Sunday.
The Greenpeace vessel Rainbow Warrior was bombed by the French secret service and it sunk on July 10, 1985.
Luckily was July 10 also the date that the Beatles released their album & single "A Hard day's Night" and that the basis for future communication via space was laid with satellite Telstar.
