Another chance to hear Ruth Molins in the Phonic FM studio discussing her upcoming events with 'Flute Cake Trio', 'Zephyr Duo', ESO, 'Vivace', Patrick Romer, Norman Bowler & others. Ruth introduces beautiful recordings of Ludovico Einaudi's "Questa Notte" and Gustav Holst's "Fantasia on the Dargasson" arranged for three flutes by Jennifer Campbell, and played by Ruth and Jennifer with Sophie Brewer, plus William Alwyn's "Naiades" for flute and harp, played by Ruth with Sally Jenkins. The run-down of local events includes organist Naoko Maeda (local to Keihanshin Metropolitan Region in Japan!), 'Billy Bottle and the Multiple' and the 'Le Jazz' quartet, in concert with Exeter Chamber Choir - with recordings and full details (also listed on classicaljourneyconcerts.blogspot.com). Finally a fabulous twenty minutes of the grand motet "In Exitu Israel" by French Baroque composer Jean-Joseph Cassanéa de Mondonville, especially for Clyst Valley Choral Society's soprano soloist Myriam Prual.
