Playing tracks by
France Gall, Jacques Dutronc, Marianne Faithful, Aranbee Pop Orchestra, Count Basie and Quncy Jones and more.
A mix of tracks that sound good when the sun is shining - all picked from my personal collection.
If you know me you'll know I'm painfully geeky about playback. This is a good thing when it comes to making mixes - they'll get better and better with time. Thanks to everyone who has given me musical inspiration over the years - without you this would never have come to fruition!
The geeky bit: transcribed using (this time.. for the last time!) a 1210. On the standard arm was a NOS 1970's Shure M75EJT2 with a nude solid diamond stylus mounted on a heavyweight Sumiko headshell. All of this was to reduce unwanted noise and resonances, dig deeper into the groove and provide you with the best possible transcription I could.
