October heralds the start of our Rachmaninoff: Inside Out festival, which runs across the whole season. In it we explore a wide range of Rachmaninoff’s orchestral works and his four piano concertos plus the opera The Miserly Knight, Cantata Spring and Choral Symphony The Bells. The artistic director is our Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski, for whom Rachmaninoff is a central and important composer of the early 20th century.
