Once Upon a Time in The Fields searches out literary performers, find out what makes them tick and if we are lucky we get them to read their work. We also love music, new and old and try to keep the soundtrack as diverse as possible whilst keeping in step with the writers.
Past guests have included Iain Sinclair, Tim Wells, Niall O'Sullivan, Robert Auton and Nathan Penlington.
They're back this time with an American accent. Following a long hiatus Amah-Rose returns with New York based author Kyle Smith reading from his first novel '85A'. This coming of age book, set in Chicago in the late 1970s to a background of a search for somewhere to belong and a punk rock soundtrack. Kyle Smith reads really well, a great listen to someone bringing their work to life.
