Gamers On The Go #004 Kirbys Dream Land 1 and 2

Gamers On The Go #004 Kirbys Dream Land 1 and 2

Here is the Tumblr showcasing the differences in box art among different regions.
In the show, Kirby’s Dream Land was referenced as the highest selling Kirby game, having sold five million copies. The exact number is 5.13 million copies. The second highest is Kirby’s Super Star Ultra for the Nintendo DS at 2.85 million copies.
I erroneously stated there were only two Game Boy Color “DX” refreshes (Link’s Awakening DX and Tetris DX.) There was also R-Type DX and Super Mario Bros Deluxe (though SMBDX didn’t refresh an original Game Boy game like the others.)
We referenced different colors of Kirby in a few games such as Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land. The first different colored Kirby was Keeby, a yellow cousin of Kirby used by a second player in Kirby’s Dream Course (probably a nod Shigeru Miyamoto’s suggestion that Kirby should be yellow.)
During the show it was mentioned there were about eight copy abilites in Dream Land 2. The number is actually seven. M
