In the Northeast corner of the New York Public Library lives the microfiche room which Ed and his brother Bob discovered as a magical place in NYC. There they find a fresh lead to go on in their genealogy research.Ed Stalling is no stranger to adventure. He spent years working in the woods of Alaska alongside brown bears and on search and rescue team, where he was “0 for 5” in CPR. You've probably seen him playing drums on Higgins with the Soul City Brass Band, driving the Ed Norton Big Band, or with The Captain Wilson Conspiracy and The John Floridis Trio. He lives in Missoula with his wife and best friend, Laurie. Together they have two grown kids and an amazingly gifted and cute 2-year-old granddaughter who can be heard shouting “Yea Papa!” at his gigs. This edition of Tell Us Something was recorded on February 17th, 2015 at the Top Hat Lounge in Missoula, MT. The theme was “Adventure”. Ed's story is called "A Gift For Dad".
