Lee’s love for the digital beat started back at school listening to Acid House mix tapes, this was his first introduction to dance music. From 1991 Lee started collecting vinyl, just to listen to at first. This soon became an obsession, spending all his spare money on as much new and fresh music he could. Lee acquired a pair of old battered decks from a friend and the rest is history!
Within a couple of years Lee was playing out with his own style of early Breaks and Techno. Lee went under the alias as DJ ESP. Lee persuaded an illegal rave promoter to give him a set at a regular event he attended called PE2 (Panorama Elite 2). The set secured him his first weekly residency playing to around 500 people in various secret locations around the Midlands.
Then followed a succession of residencies in Mansfield at; Harveys, The Yard and Vibealite.
