Neil Patel was a PhD student in Computer Science at Stanford University. His research explores the design and usage of ICTs for underserved populations; specifically, he works on voice-based social media for rural communities. He commutes between his home in California and Gujarat, India.

Awaaz.de’s mission is to empower organizations to engage with communities in any language, leveraging the power of spoken voice and mobile phones.
