Review from Juno Donwload!!
There is no doubt that Mother Earth is hurting right now, and these remixes soundtrack the world of pain and hurt our blighted domain is experiencing. The "Dispirited" and Takaaki Itoh remixes are relentless banging affairs, sheets of metal percussion and eerie, abstract textures competing with unflinching drums to be heard. In the case of the "Dispirited" remix, the orchestral strings lend the composition an even more displaced, disoriented feeling. The versions by Andreas Florin and Marco Rane offer some sense of escape, rooted as they are by overpowering chords, but the listener is quickly taken back to the prevailing doomy mood, as articulated so well by the insane, screeching acid lines and tooth-rattling percussion of DJ Warp's remix.
