The podcast show for JLR, tends to a wide variety of genres.
This particular edition introduces some new music from pianist Gediminas Karkauskas; Official Burnt Toast aka OBT, (on which Kevin Davy plays muted trumpet), produced by Sonskrif, including his collaboration with MC Quest of Manchester, on the track; Fire on Cold Nights.
The show rounds off with two Cymande compositions; firstly the tune entitled; "The Message" on a version by US jazz trumpeter Blue Mitchell. "The Message" is also the basis for MC Solaar's hit track; "bouj de la" Cymande has attained great acclaim and influence amongst; non-other than the filmmaker Spike Lee, and various hip hop luminaries. The show ends with the aptly-named track;
"Friends" in tribute to the recent passing of Long-standing and founder Cymande members;
Trevor White and Pablo Gonsales.
