Welcome to the eighth installment of my annual mix albums; a yearly tradition started back in 2010, when I stole the idea from a friend of mine. The songs on these mixes represent songs that were in some way significant to me during the year. This year’s mix contains mostly songs that were new in 2017, but also some that were just new to me. They include songs by friends of mine, songs from bands I saw live, songs from albums I loved, and songs I just loved and wanted to include. There also seemed to be an unusually high amount of songs by Canadian artists this year. A lot of time and effort goes into not just selecting the songs, but also putting them in an order that flows like an album. Enjoy!
