I love to make mix CDs for people. When I put together a mix CD for someone, I do not merely think of it as a collection of songs that I like, but I prefer to think of it as creating an album. The music has to make sense together and flow as if it were one cohesive unit. I’ve decided to make a mix CD based on my life in 2010, and continue to make one each year. This is in no way an original idea. In fact, I stole this idea from my friend David Ullman (who appears on my CD). The idea behind my CD is that each song on the CD had some measure of significance or represents a band/artist or an album that had some measure of significance on me during the year.
