Playing tracks by
Hobart Smith, Stereolab, DJ Rashad, Anika, Andy Stott and more.
Welcome to the first of a new series of Kamikaze shows. This is the first of what will be a small barrage of shows over the coming days. Anworth Kirk are the featured artist in this edition, and I'll be playing the whole of the first side of their stunning album on Pre-Cert Home Entertainment. Aside from the Kirksters, you can hear bluegrass and fiddlin' nonsense from Hobart Smith and Miles and Bob Pratcher on Mississippi, modern day post-punk from Anika, juke goodness from DJ Rashad, sinister witch house from Mater Suspiria Vision, Czech 70s kids TV music from Angelo Mikhailov on Finders Keepers, experimental drum n bass from Wolfgang Voigt, a bit of Stereolab, some proper darkness from Demdike Stare, and a beautiful slice of pulsing minimal house in the form of Andy Stott remixing Badawi. I'll be back very soon with more, but in the meantime... Enjoy x
