About the show

Playing tracks by

Vacvvm, Cloaks, Stars of the Lid, A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Skyscraper and more.

Here are the angel bones
laid out on top of the dresser like antique
jewelry

Here are
those drunk voice mails, the sober texts.
Here is your promise of staying.

Here is the lonely HUM in my brain where your
name used to be.

And of course it flows right into Dying Mothers... perfection. You are with me inside all day long like this.

"A winged victory for the sullen" just gets me every time. F*ck I love this!

I love the undertones of the Silver Mount Zion-esque stuff with the choral music overtop on this track.

The Barrastinian

magnificent JYA mate loved it all especially from Pinkcourtesyphone though to SotL's The Dying Mothers of Perpetual Help

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate comments like that especially coming from someone as deft as your good self, now I'm gonna leave it there and just press "post reply" and not delete and block by mistake like last time and then not be able to contact you for 2 weeks. :-)

Wow, man!! Really deep and encompassing. The emotions that you created are really heavy. When the SOTL tune kicked in it was like opening my eyes flying at the light speed through the cosmos. Nothing short of perfect, as always. I'm humbled, Paul. Peace.

Thank you maestro, I was unsure whether or not to post this mix as I have others that are a bit more easier listening, however I think I'll just plough on doing what comes natural to pick lesser known peripheral bands or tracks and put them in the junk yard blender to make some angel soup. Thanks so much for your on going support and comments, will email you re Spaceman's transmissions.
