Last week we talked about the miracles of Jesus and the deeper purpose behind them. He performed his first recorded miracle at a wedding where he turned water into wine. Afterwards, His disciples BELIEVED that He was who he said He was.
The miracle was the least important thing that happened that day. The very fact that the creator of the universe can still manipulate the creation shouldn't be a surprise to anyone...but it is.
Throughout the summer, we are going to be looking at miracles in the New Testament and the greater purpose behind each one of them. This week we are walking through the story of blind Bartimaeus. The fact that he was blind was not the most important part of this story, either.
Imagine...if Jesus can bend the laws of nature, what could he do in your life?
