I started mixing dance music in the 90s, falling into the Birmingham techno scene, fuelled by Surgeon @ House of God. Always loved progressive house, being influenced early on by Sasha and Digweed.
Been on an extensive funk and soul finding mission in the 00s.
Now loving pretty much everything, but definitely reigniting my passion for electronic music.
Mainly I'm mixing deep and often dark and melancholic music with many layers that uplifts and stirs you into throwing some shapes.
For me, dancing in underground clubs always had a somewhat apocalyptic, end of the world feeling, like "Hey it's the end of the world, but let's all just be friends and party!" And I think my music style reflects that feeling.
