1oth Anniversary of the Hong Kong Handover ... 1am - 2.30am set at Heat, above the old Neptunes. Recorded the set ... a nod to 10 years earlier. All mixed on vinyl. Invisible by Tilt ... about 1.08 ... when that song kicks into gear still gives me goosebumps. Matt Darey was a genius of the genre. Some ropey mixing moments towards the end ... thanks to a certain gent who handed round the disco biscuits for old times' sake and they were full of mescaline. Things went weird. Track 11 ... if anyone gets that far, help a brother out. Classic but I have forgotten. Also Track 8 ... bedrock blue coloured unmixed 3 record compilation but buggered if remember the name of the song. Last track that cuts off was some driving techno thing i picked up in a basement bin somewhere, can remember what it looked like but never heard of the label before or since. Used to do the trick though.
