I always said I'd stop promoting Peg parties if I reached 10 years, because there are, I believe, two party rules that should be adhered to: always leave 'em wanting more, and always know when to go home.
This was recorded at the very last Peg party in London, in a warehouse on Hackney Road, December 2009. I never imagined that Peg would last that long, or that I'd be that bothered to keep going with it... but that's what happened and so it was lovely to end with such a fantastic party - filled so many friends and with some of my favourite DJs playing too. I knew i'd have to play a bit of a greatest hits of Peg set - and i'm glad i did cos the place went mental.
I really am very proud of hosting 10 years of underground parties, through a terribly unfashionable phase for house music. That's not the case today. Again, that's cos of rules. This usually applies to fashion, but it fits for house music too - hold onto something long enough, and it usually comes back in vogue...
