Introduction, Part 3 and Part 2.
Alex Vesely interviews Jane Parsons-Fein who explores what she discovered by studying with Dr. Erickson and then filming his innovative work training a group of students. She reflects on how easily he segued into the creative unconscious of the people he worked with, enabling each to discover unique, new possibilities for joy and accomplishments. Jane explores what she learns about how we are in constant movement, shifting from one state to another, unaware of our profound changes of consciousness as they occur. Erickson was exquisitely aware of these shifts and worked with seamless subtlety to enable people to have new experiences of who they are. Note: Jane mistakenly attributed Feldenkrais’ Case of Nora to Freud when she meant to say “the case of Elisabeth.”
