Jamie's 'jolly' Jukebox: 11112013 Remembrance Sunday

Jamie's 'jolly' Jukebox: 11112013 Remembrance Sunday

Playing tracks by

Capital Cities, The Ten Tenors, Billie Joe Armstrong & Nora Jones, Dave Stewart, Garland jeffreys and more.

** This show was recorded on Remembrance Sunday, and so is dedicated to all our fallen Heroes. We will never forget. **

In this show Leni and I talk about Remembrance Sunday, and what our Heroes did. Leni has her StoryCorner in the second hour and there are bags of cracking music played throughout.

No Tony, and as it transpires, won't be for the next few shows, so Leni choses a song by REM to be played which is a wise choice.

As always, please leave your comments below on the Jukebox's free message board. All comments welcome, and will be mentioned in future shows.

Until next time, my friends,
take care

Oh my god...The best show ever... The segment of on the vets on remembrance day was... unmeasurable ...Thanks for amusing me with your little radio jingle. yet again. love Leni's proclamation to find out the artist of the song .(inside out ) was so funny..I imagined her standing on a makeshift stage commanding her troops to go forth and return with the spoils of war... It also came over as if there were to be a reward involve, but deliberately with held it in the hesitation as she phrased it ...that was hilarious . I will check Thor out this weekend... I really did not like the first one, that much... But I loved his part and acting in the Movie Lord Of The Rings.."The Return Of The King" episode .. can you tell me 1) what is his name in this movie 2) Which army was the second leading character. I loved the Adventures and must say is roll was well acted..

Love to you both.

Gordon Harris

A grand show! Nobody can do a remembrance show like the Brits! Thank you for all the Canadian children of Vets (like me)! Yes - how DO you follow that?

Thank you Gordon. What our Veterans went through was tragic, and yet at the same time, it is something I am forever humble by and grateful for.
