Fine artist and music connoisseur Rob Judges grew up in the multi-pop-cultural soup of eighties Toronto. After playing in several hip-hop and rock groups and self-publishing his first zines in the early nineties he went on to study art and semiotics at the University of Toronto. Now based in electric Tokyo, he produces artwork inspired by the look of fading urban signage and typography, the vibrancy of neon and advertising, and the wit of 20th Century North American artists such as Philip Guston and Jean-Michel Basquiat. His aesthetic sensibility is matched only by his love of pop music, and he has poured them both into a very special hard-rock mix tape for all of us. Enjoy!
