History buffs unite! It Matters welcomes back author Robert Rubenstein for a round table discussion of The Civil War, The Depression Era, World War II and Samuel Dewey.
Joining him will be Jean Rodenbough, author of the WW II novel 'Rachels Children', C.D. Phillips, author of 'the Civil War Novel 'Sharp Shooters' and Charles Rodenbough, author of 'Stealing Andrew Jackson's Head.
A Jewish Book Council, Book-of-Note author, Mr. Rubenstein's first novel was included in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum library. His latest release, The White Bridge, is a parody of the transformation of a young woman in a time of eugenics, baby farms, Hitler, the Klan, and the culture of lynching.
The SHARPSHOOTER 1862-1864 is C.D. Phillips' first novel after writing short fiction for a number of years. His short fiction was nominated for The Pushcart Prize, The Best of the Web, and Story South's Million Writers Award. He is a native Texan, born and raised in Abilene.
