Rare is the Hollywood film that appeals to the whole family. From grandparents to grandchildren, everyone will find something good in 'Hidden Figures'. The story is about a group of African-American women who work for NASA during the Space Race. The U.S. is in competition with Russia to put a man in orbit, and the most valuable contributors to the mathematics of it all are women treated like second-class citizens. They are true underdog heroes and their efforts make for an engaging story. Andrew and Phil hold hope for future PG-rated films as being as high caliber as this mainstream fare.
