The North American International Auto Show is the Motor City’s time to shine. Bright lights, wild ideas, beautiful models (er) cars; it’s Detroit’s time to shine, a bright spot in the midst of normally harsh winter. In recent years technology has become almost as important a design element as the sporty curves and gutsy engines. The recently ended Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas sported a huge number of vehicles and automotive related technology. Now we get to see the flip side of that equation as car makers from all over the world vie for the attention of the masses of new car enthusiasts.
