What does it take to become successful in the music industry?
First, it's talent. That's why you should meet (and hear!) Kirbanu. She comes from Australia, but currently lives in Germany with her loved one. She's modest and has a warm smile, but when she sings, everything is even brighter.
Second, it's passion. Ross Daly, although he's Irish, has been a constant traveler. He only found peace in Greece, where he's devoted his life to the Cretan lyra. What kind of instrument is it? And why does it take at least 4 hours every day to practice it?
And finally, it takes a bit of luck. Cedric Watson says he's met some people who supported his decision to be a musician. Coming from Louisiana, he and his band, Bijou Creole, have a lot to say about the Creole music. It dates back to the eighteenth century!
Hear. Listen. Enjoy.
