BLEND CLUBBING (UK, IBIZA, DUBAI): 2001 saw the launch of what was set to become one of the UK’s most talked about clubbing brands, Blend. With a Saturday night residency at the Gatehouse club in Derby, Blends popularity spread, dancing clubbers from all over the country which lead to a guest appearance on Pete Tong’s international Radio One show. With a policy that concentrated on delivering quality dance music, Blends parties became renowned for having an unrivalled atmosphere. Reigning over the Midlands for four years, Blends popularity spread to the International stage, with a series of Parties in Ibiza including events at El Divino, Eden, Bora Bora and Kanya. International exposure didn’t halt here as they took Miami WMC by storm the following year hosting parties with Spread Music records. Their success in Miami took Blend in a new direction as they launched tours across the UK, teaming up the likes of Ministry of Sound, Garlands, With the emphasis on good quality House Music.
