Continuing the "In Islam" series with a discussion on the relationship between the faith and spirituality today with good friend and US immigration lawyer/writer, Afshan Randera.

She's just finished reading the Koran in chronological order of revelation, has a great insight into the spiritual side of all religions and like myself has never stopped questioning why we believe what we believe. We chat the similarities between Islam and other religions, the pros and cons of atheism, the different ways people interpret Islam and how religions can evolve so rapidly from the original word of peace. Deep stuff. But with a smile.
