Milonga Moderna = Tango music & moods for a modern world.
Anyone who has been to a milonga, AKA tango dance hall, will likely agree that they are often sexy places. Some milongas are super basic, no frigs and over lit places. Others are terribly elegant, or at least formerly elegant places. Then there are the alluringly lit, edgy milongas. I like those the best. Regardless of their size, lighting, current or former elegance, one thing is always true: the social sexual politics run raw, just below the surface, and deep into the heart, gut & soul. Brutal!
Although I fell in love with tango music long before I lived in Buenos Aires, but while there I fell deeper and deeper in love with the tango, and grew to love the allure of milongas. This is my reimagining, not literal take, on what a modern milonga could sound like.

Another awesomely unique mix from Icazo...lol Have to admit I was grooving ....not sure whether it was the tango, macarena, or some weird twerk move I was doing, but the bones were moving lol. Especially liked the Cowboy in the Garden and the Comic Strip tracks. Thanks bro :)
