Some time ago I had a look at my music project archive on my hard drive. I was pretty amazed how many tracks I had there. Of course, not all of them are finished, and quite many of them are just very early ideas, but there really are dozens and dozens of them, and that the oldest ones are more than ten years old. It's pretty to imagine how many tracks I've been able to work on in relatively short time.
The same kind of early enthuasism can be seen with the amount of mixtapes I've done back in the days. While nowadays I tend to concentrate mostly on just listening the music I buy, I've earlier been quite keen on recording my sets. I guess it's quite natural evolution in DJing. There's not much more to learn about playing the records, but there is always more music waiting to be listened. Or it's just me being lazy. Who knows.
